We have gone through approximately 400 pads and about 250 tampons a month. The leggings have kept several students out of in school detention for dress code and students have been beyond appreciative of the hygiene products as well. \r\n Soon after receiving the donation I realized that some students may not be aware of the closet. I decided to make \"Care Caddies\" for each of the girls' bathrooms. This has allowed students to have direct access to feminine hygiene products without having to come and ask me for them - they are right there when they have the need! I was so humbled to hear a student talking about the Care Caddies. After receiving this shipment, I refilled all of them and a student noticed and said, \"The tampon fairy has been here!\". It is so humbling to be able to provide these necessities to students because of your generosity! I have already begun surveying teachers and students to find out what other needs our students have that are not being met for our next project.
