This space has provided some very special students a place to go when they are having a difficult moment or day. The niche within the classroom is out of direct view of the class, but visible to me and to classroom aides. \r\n\r\nStudents love the beanbag chair and the sensory toys. The carpet is soft and the colors are peaceful. \r\n\r\nThis \"room\" as they call it is the best addition to my art room to be added in years. I so thankful that students who 'need a moment' to decompress and detach can do so without leaving the art room. \r\n\r\nOn behalf of my OMR extended family and myself, thank you for contributing to this project.
