Each student was given a bag containing deodorant, body wash, and a healthy snack. Most of these students did not have any of these supplies at home and normally would not be able to afford them, so they were very excited and very appreciative when they received their items. There were a lot of big smiles and you could see how happy they were. \r\nThis was a very rewarding project because it helped our students feel better about themselves and gain confidence that wasn't there before. They look good, feel good, and smell good! We still have some snacks and a little bit of the hygiene items left over, so we will keep them in our classroom and distribute them as needed throughout the rest of the school year.
