Nearpod will help bridge the gap between my students in the classroom and those learning from home. It will provide a means to make all students feel included and allow them to collaborate in real-time. The Gold Package will also allow my students access to a Program of Ethnic Diversity that provides primary documents and first-hand accounts of historical events we study every day. One of my biggest fears for my virtual learners is that they will become disengaged and feel isolated at home. Nearpod will help stem that concern. This tool is terrific and will also help my students learn historical content, specifically ethnic studies. Understanding and celebrating ethnic diversity is incredibly important, especially considering the worldwide events of today. Our student's exposure to diverse cultures is somewhat limited, so this will genuinely benefit them.
