Our classroom library feels so much more organized and inviting. I was able to get rid of the old shelves and replace them with new, more kindergarten friendly ones. My class loves to read and the shelves and book boxes give the library new life. \r\n\r\nThe students also really love the new sand toys! They are sturdy and they love creating in the sand area. I have particularly enjoyed using the Teach and Store Chart Stand. We use it for our small group time and it's perfect for a portable/magnetic/whiteboard. I've hung a pocket chart on one side and it helps with our word study lessons. The students also use the magnetic whiteboard for a rollercoaster STEM set we have. It helps them build their problem solving and engineering skills. \r\n\r\nWe have put our \"Purrble\" soothing companion and breathing balls to good use! The students will run to get them when a classmate needs something to help them calm down when sad or frustrated. This limited supply has actually created a unique learning opportunity: it teaches the students to treat high-end technology with respect and encourages a \"station-based\" rotation where they focus intensely on drafting and fine-tuned editing when it's their turn at the stylus station.\r\n\r\nThe most exciting part of this new addition is the \"pro-level\" feeling it gives the students. Even though we are still exploring the full range of what these pens can do, the kids are incredibly eager to master them. They are learning that these styluses not toys, but a bridge tool that connect their physical hand movements to their digital creations. It's fun to watch them experiment with pressure and line weight—skills that are essential for future careers in graphic design or engineering but are impossible to practice with just a fingertip.\r\n\r\nI've been especially heartened to see how these tools have benefited my aspiring artists who previously felt limited by the \"clunkiness\" of digital drawing.
