At first, the students were a bit nervous since many of them had never played chess before. However, as they started playing, their excitement grew. It was wonderful to hear them discuss how chess challenges their critical thinking skills. These items make it much easier for the students to find costumes and props that they can use in their stories. Acting out their stories helps them to develop many important skills. They learn how to collaborate in a group. They learn how to speak loud and clear. They also learn story structure and how to tell a story. \r\n\r\nThe students love adding costumes to their stories. They were very excited to see the new costume racks and to be able to more easily find the costumes they needed to embellish their storytelling. Using costumes helps them to get excited and stay engaged in the learning activities. I really appreciate your support in providing my students additional resources to help them learn.
