We have also used the light sets to photograph students in our musical productions! \r\nWe could not complete this project in the timeline because of Covid 19. I have continued to use the equipment with my students and have enjoyed the ability to have photoshoots in all of our visual art classes. \r\nStudents love the photoshoot week as they feel like professional photographers. I have used it to teach art careers and have students work in role-assigned jobs. The photographer, the lighting tech, and the model. Students learn about the different types of portraits throughout history. The model chooses what they wear and how they pose to convey a power, commemorative, or psychological portrait. The photographer decides on the composition, and the lighting tech holds the lighting and deflector panels. \r\n\r\nIt has brought new life to the traditional graphite portrait. We set up different agriculture production scenarios and students are given a set amount of money. They then make choices about what they will invest in, what expenses they will have, if they will have insurance, etc. \r\nThis activity always encourages a lot of discussion and new ideas, and historically we have used money we have printed and cut out ourselves. They are different sizes and have seen a lot of wear and tear.
