We have already begun using several of the items, and they have added so much excitement and positivity to our days. One special moment was during our hot cocoa celebration, when students enjoyed a warm drink together while working and talking with classmates. It created such a cozy and joyful classroom environment.\r\n\r\nThe soccer ball has been a big hit during recess and brain breaks, giving students more opportunities to play together and practice teamwork. Students were also thrilled to see that we received the book *Wonder*, and many were eager to begin reading and discussing its powerful messages about kindness and empathy.\r\n\r\nWhen students first saw the materials, they were so excited and curious, asking when we would get to use everything and exploring each item with big smiles. They truly felt special knowing that people cared about their learning and happiness.\r\n\r\nOur next step will be using the large craft kit during our upcoming money unit, where students will complete hands-on projects that help them practice budgeting and making choices in a fun, meaningful way.\r\n\r\nThank you again for making such a positive impact on our classroom and for supporting my students in so many ways.","fullyFundedDate":1764372661059,"projectUrl":"project/cozy-creativity-outdoor-play-and-warm/9920650/","projectTitle":"Cozy Creativity, Outdoor Play, and Warm Reads","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Zingsheim","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6750103_orig.jpg?crop=398,398,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1753109799693","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6750103"},{"teacherId":6750103,"projectId":9475168,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generosity! We've been using the new materials every single day! The dry erase boards have quickly become a classroom favorite—students use them to solve math problems, practice spelling, and share quick responses during lessons. It's amazing to see how engaged they are when they each have a board in hand. The noise cancelling headphones have really helped us concentrate on our work. Also, the incentive items and birthday chart have brought so much joy to our classroom community!\r\n\r\nI wish you could have seen their faces light up! The moment we unpacked the boxes, there was an excited buzz around the room. Students couldn't wait to test out the new whiteboards and markers. When we added the birthday chart, they immediately started looking for their own names and talking about how special their day would be this year. It was such a heartwarming moment of gratitude and excitement.\r\n\r\nWe'll continue using the dry erase boards for daily practice and small-group learning, especially as we move into more challenging math and writing units. Students are also setting personal goals to earn incentives through acts of kindness, responsibility, and effort—so the rewards have become part of a larger growth mindset conversation.
