They were beyond excited and itching to help unpack everything! My students are not used to receiving new materials in any of their classrooms at school. I didn't have to tell them twice how special this was that so many people, some of whom we don't even know, made sure we got these materials for them to use. At our Title I school, kids don't often get to see people having the means to give so much and so freely to others. This changed how they see the world.\r\n\r\nWe are preparing for our Winter Arts Night next week, and the kids have had so much fun learning to play our mallet instruments. You have helped ensure that every student has access to an instrument--no more turn-taking or switching back-and-forth. They are getting twice the amount of practice and experience than they were before!\r\n\r\nThere are no adequate words for our gratitude and our appreciation, but I hope it is clear how much your generosity means to me, my students, and our school as a whole.
