My students were so excited when the books started coming in. I have never seen them so excited about books. They were jumping up and down and cheering for all the new reading options. My students begged to just sit and read, whether it was independently or to each other. It definitely melted my heart to see them so excited about reading. \r\n\r\nWe've used the books both in and out of the classroom. Students read in small groups or take the books home for independent reading. I've used the books in writing projects and as read alouds.
