Before this project, our classroom only had limited supplies that made it difficult for students to experience the hands-on, three-dimensional side of art.\r\n\r\nWith this clay, my young artists are able to build, shape, and express their ideas in a completely new way — from imaginative creatures to self-portraits and storytelling sculptures. They're learning about form, texture, and design while strengthening fine motor skills, patience, and creative problem-solving.\r\n\r\nThe biggest impact has been on student confidence and engagement. Many students who struggle with drawing or painting have found their voice through sculpting. They light up when they realize they can create something they can touch, hold, and share.\r\n\r\nThis project has transformed our art room into a true creative studio — one where every student, regardless of background, can experience the joy of turning a lump of clay into a personal masterpiece.
