My students and I have appreciated these additional tools and my students have benefited daily from having them available. My class was ecstatic when I shared the exciting news that my project had been funded, and what I was going to be able to purchase for them. They could hardly wait and asked me daily when the materials would arrive. Then they could hardly control their excitement when the boxes were carried into the classroom and I had the chance to put everything together. \r\n\r\nMy students all use the computer mice daily and they still comment how much easier it is to use a separate mouse compared to the Chromebook mousepad. It's made our online math time so much more productive because they can easily navigate the program and select their answers to complete their lessons. \r\n\r\nThe dry erase color dots have also been a wonderful daily tool, especially for my small group students and their math tutor. He has commented multiple times how wonderful they are because the dots creates a natural work space for students and he can quickly see their problem-solving as they write it down. \r\n\r\nThe wobble stools have definitely been the highlight and new favorite of my students and other adults that visit my classroom. My students now don't mind coming to work at the back table and many will find any reason to so they can sit on one of the wobble stools to work. The wobble stools have especially made a positive impact with my neurodivergent students that need a break or some movement to help them refocus or stay on task. \r\n\r\nThese items have truly changed my classroom for the better this year and I know they will continue to do so with my future students. I appreciate your kindness and donations to my students' learning and education.","fullyFundedDate":1761948506259,"projectUrl":"project/movement-and-mice/9817343/","projectTitle":"Movement and Mice","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Jeppesen","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8280420_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1690976673079","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8280420"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_32968","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":504,"numTeachers":null,"percentFrplEligible":23,"percentAsian":1,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":84,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":9,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"K - 6","studentTeacherRatio":null,"demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_MIDSIZE"},"inStateSupporters":79.5,"schoolId":32968,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about North Park Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"North Park Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/utah/cache-county-school-district/north-park-elementary-school/32968"}
