Most students have seen digital drawings and have experimented some with drawing aps on their phone using their fingers as a pencil. These digital drawing pads allow students to have a professional experience in the classroom. Students can draw, then add colors and layers to create complicated artworks that can easily be edited and changed. \r\n\r\nThe students who have drawn using programs on their phones are the most interested and excited to improve their skill in digital drawing. The drawing pads allow them better control over small details. Students were challenged to take the project we are currently working on, a Motif or Mandala, and digitize it. \r\n\r\nI hope that this experience will help them to be more confident in choosing art as a career or taking more art classes and developing their interest in design and digital art.","fullyFundedDate":1757076205534,"projectUrl":"project/preparing-artists-for-future-careers/9659688/","projectTitle":"Preparing Artists for Future Careers","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Colby-Russell","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp308872_orig.jpg?crop=2448,2448,x0,y195&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1756818614218","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/misscolby"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_3041","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":1125,"numTeachers":47,"percentFrplEligible":68,"percentAsian":1,"percentBlack":3,"percentWhite":80,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":10,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"9 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"23.9:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"UNCLASSIFIED","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_FRINGE"},"inStateSupporters":72.7,"schoolId":3041,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about North Lincoln High School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"North Lincoln High School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/north-carolina/lincoln-county-school-district/north-lincoln-high-school/3041"}
