First, the beautiful rug that was generously donated. My students adore it and I love having a place for my students to learn all of the amazing content we teach in first grade. My students have loved using the bean bag to read or work with a partner. They even use it when they need a break due to outside factors affecting them at school. I am grateful that they have a safe place to go to. The pink robot sharpener has been a hit in my classroom. My students are always amazed by how quickly it sharpens our pencils. The expo markers have been a fabulous addition - allowing my students to show their learning in many different ways. \r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the rug, they were amazed. They LOVE walking in and seeing the bright, fun color of the rug. They also love having a space that they know is theirs on the carpet. They think the beanbag is the most comfortable item in the room, it has significantly promoted reading in my classroom. They are so happy with the colorful expo markers and erasers. They love how easy it is to sharpen their pencils and it is a fun robot - so that is always a plus! We are so grateful for the generous donations.
