With your generosity, I have been able to create care packages for all of my students in grades 2nd-5th for the 2025-2026 school year. As virtual learners, my students often miss out of the fun and engaging celebratory elements of school. They don't typically get the option to have birthday celebrations or class parties with their classmates or with me. Using the materials from this project, I was able to create a special gift for each child. These personalized reading trackers have been included in students' birthday packages that I am sending out each month. The birthday packages also include special birthday items, like stickers and bookmarks, and a personalized birthday card from me.\r\n The students who have already received their packages have been so excited! They have sent me pictures, thank you messages, and some have even done \"unpacking\" videos for their classmates to view. The only thing more exciting than a class party might be receiving special mail at your house! I plan to extend this project even further by taking pictures with my students during our in-person celebrations and field trips. These only happen a few times a year, but with my special printer, I will be able to print out a picture for each student and mail it to them. They are going to love it!
