Your generous donations toward our program's goal of acquiring two new tubas, no matter how big or small, has made an extraordinary difference. Because of your support, we are thrilled to share that we have now secured one of those brand-new tubas, and already the improvement is evident—in both how we look and how we sound.\r\n\r\nPerforming recently at the MICCA Finals was a true highlight for our program and a meaningful mark for the debut season of our new tuba. Thanks to your generosity, our tuba section had equipment worthy of its ambition, and it elevated our collective performance. This new tuba will also allow us the flexibility to use in both our marching band and concert band setting, which will prove to be extremely helpful to our program. \r\n\r\nYour contributions—whether from near or far—have allowed us to present ourselves with pride and deliver a stronger, clearer musical presence. Many of them immediately started talking about how they were going to try their best to earn tickets so they'd have a chance at winning a prize. The new incentive program has created a positive buzz in our classroom and given students extra motivation to stay focused, participate in discussions, and demonstrate good behavior.\r\n\r\nWe are now using the raffle tickets as part of our daily classroom routine. Whenever students answer questions thoughtfully, work well with others, or show positive behavior, they earn a ticket to add to our classroom raffle jar. Every two weeks, I pull a winner who gets to choose a candy bar as their prize. It has been amazing to see how even small rewards can build excitement and create an encouraging classroom environment. Students cheer for each other when tickets are handed out, and the raffle drawing has quickly become a moment everyone looks forward to.\r\n\r\nThe next step for my students is continuing to build on this momentum. This new technology has already had a tremendous impact on our learning environment and has helped engage my students in ways I never expected.\r\n\r\nThe speaker has allowed us to incorporate brain breaks, calming music, and even math-related tunes into our lessons. These moments of music or short breaks help students recharge, focus, and stay energized during challenging lessons. Using music in the classroom not only creates a more dynamic atmosphere but also supports different learning styles. For instance, I can now introduce math concepts through songs or rhythm, which helps some students retain information better.\r\n\r\nWhat excites my students the most is how the speaker gives them the ability to experience learning in a more immersive way. They love having music in the background during study time, and many have told me how it helps them concentrate and feel more relaxed. Additionally, brain breaks with upbeat music give them the energy they need to dive back into complex problems with a fresh mindset.\r\n\r\nParticularly, students who find it difficult to focus for extended periods have really warmed to the new speaker. For these students, the combination of music and movement breaks has made a significant difference in their ability to stay engaged. It's been especially beneficial for students with ADHD or anxiety, helping them self-regulate and manage stress during lessons.\r\n\r\nThanks to your support, this speaker is already making a positive difference in our classroom.
