I have been able to distribute the donut cushions to my students who need to wiggle a little more than others! The cause and effect toys have been a highlight for so many students. One non-speaking student loves picking the ball toy each time he is in my room and has been able to use his AAC device to tell me about the toy! I love seeing the improvements in regulation and language that I am seeing. \r\nThe velcro and laminating pages have been a life saver as I create materials for my students that will last more than one session. I have been able to create to-do lists for my students and laminate them so they can use an expo marker to check off each step they complete. It is so much fun to see them using sign language thorugh out the school with their teachers and peers. Many of our students are non verbal, and bringing sign language into our school day helps so much with communication of even the most basic of needs/wants. \r\n\r\nA great moment is seeing the students at morning meeting signing the days of the week, and answering questions about how they are feeling or a certain color has been so great to see. They get SO excited to show off their new skill that other students around the school might not know.\r\n\r\nWhat we have done with the project moving forward is we have a built a slideshow of the signs we have learned and continually add to it with their favorite things.
