It has been so fun to watch them experience art in a new way and see their curiosity as they discover how the materials look under the blacklights. These resources help us make art engaging, memorable, and accessible for our youngest learners, allowing each child to participate and create in their own way. We look forward to continuing to explore different art techniques and giving our students opportunities to express themselves through creative play. The LEGO table and bricks have brought so much excitement to our room. When the students first saw them, they couldn't wait to start building together. We've already used the table to make letters, numbers, and simple patterns, which helps with GOLD skills like fine-motor development (Objective 7), working together (Objective 3), and learning letters and sounds (Objectives 15 & 16).\r\n\r\nWe'll keep using the LEGO table during literacy and math time, as well as for fun building challenges. Students will practice sharing and problem-solving (Objective 4) while creating structures, shape models, and beginning-sound objects (Objective 21).
