They especially enjoyed seeing the new carpets and exploring the books. Our calm-down spot has become a special place where students can take a moment to relax, reflect, and use strategies to manage their emotions. The posters and books have also helped us have meaningful conversations about feelings, kindness, and ways to care for our mental health and all those resources, have made it feel like a real calm dow spot. The cleaning tools have helped us keep our classroom clean and comfortable so that we can continue enjoying our learning space.\r\n\r\nAs we continue through the school year, we will keep using these resources to support both learning and emotional well-being. Even though these things might seem just for decoration, it makes a whole different positive energy in the classroom. Its awesome to see the kids excited to be in your class!
