Sometimes it feels like at least one student needs a new marker each day. This can really add up! I have found that dry erase markers are a much better option than paper and pencil activities. The students I serve struggle to bring in snacks and necessary supplies for replenishment, which are greatly needed. Some students only get food from the school they attend that is why it is vital to supply them with breakfast, lunch and a snack before going home. Even though I've requested snacks from parents many tell me they can't afford it or they simply just don't supply them. It is hard to do your best when you are hungry.
