The equipment has allowed for students of all abilities to be successful in this Unified PE class. We have used just about everything that was purchased! The fleece balls and scarves have provided the perfect overhand throwing, rolling and underhand throwing opportunities for these kiddos because of their light weight. The poly spots have made it easy to mark start and end points, distances from targets, and guides when moving around the large open space of the gym! In the spring we plan to incorporate a mini-golf unit where students will work with each other to create their own hole using the mini-golf putting game and other various pieces of equipment donated.\r\n\r\nWhen my students saw the equipment they were SO thrilled! They've enjoyed every second of utilizing it all. We plan to use all of the equipment in each unit throughout the rest of the year and years moving forward. The adjustable basketball hoop will be perfect for our students of smaller stature who struggle with upper body strength.
