Our chairs no longer scrape the floor, causing unpleasant sounds and distractions that disturb others, thanks to the tennis balls. One of my students has claimed the lap desk as her workspace when she is in the classroom. It is perfect for her and others are allowed to use it if they would like to. This has given all of them more freedom and flexibility to work in the classroom. The students enjoy using the telephones to read to themselves and ask to use them everyday.\r\n\r\nWe have not been able to fully utilize our sensory table and calming corner yet as we are trying to find the best place for them. However, we have used some of the calming tools to help us focus or calm down when necessary.
