Thanks to your kindness, our classroom environment is calmer and more secure\r\nThe two cellphone lockers arrived, and I am happy to share the immediate positive effect they have had on my students and our daily lessons.\r\n\r\nThe students now have increased focus and engagement. Before the lockers, cellphone distractions were a constant challenge, pulling student attention away from the material we were covering. Now, students securely deposit their phones at the start of class. Their level of participation and focus has increased. The simple act of providing a dedicated, secure space has virtually eliminated the need for me to manage phone usage. This means more time is spent teaching and learning, and less time is spent on distractions or discipline. We even had an unexpected test of the lockers' utility during a recent fire drill. Instead of leaving valuable student property unsecured or delaying the evacuation process by having students frantically grab their phones, I simply grabbed the entire locker unit. This meant every student's phone was safely and securely brought outside with us, giving the students one less thing to worry about during an emergency situation.\r\n\r\nYour contribution is more than just a piece of equipment. These lockers will be used by all of my students over their time here at NEHS, ensuring a distraction-free learning environment.\r\n\r\nThank you, once again, for making this resource a reality for my classroom. The supplies provided my students with pencils, high lighters, markers, ASL charts and more.\r\n \r\nWhen the supplies were received students were very excited to help unbox the new supplies and put them to use. With the supplies they can complete all of their classwork, and homework with ease. \r\n\r\nThroughout the school year the supplies are being planned to be used to have students strengthen their receptive skills of ASL by writing down what is seen when it is signed to them.
