While many donors may recognize some of this technology from personal use, in our classroom these tools are used at a professional level to support hands-on learning. With the addition of high-powered devices like the Apple iMac 24-inch M4 computers, students are now able to design marketing materials, edit videos, build presentations, and analyze business data efficiently and at industry standards. These computers serve as the foundation for all student projects, allowing them to work seamlessly across multiple platforms and applications.\r\n\r\nThe most exciting aspect for students has been the ability to create real, tangible products and media. Using professional lighting kits and audio equipment, students produce high-quality video content for business pitches, social media campaigns, and promotional materials. The addition of the Zoom LiveTrak L-8 Podcast Bundle has allowed students to create and record their own podcasts, giving them a voice and a platform to share ideas in a format that feels authentic and relevant. These experiences go far beyond traditional classroom assignments—students are engaging in real-world storytelling, branding, and communication.\r\n\r\nEqually impactful has been the introduction of design and production tools like the Cricut Maker 3, Cricut Autopress, and Brother Sublimation Printer SP1. These tools allow students to design and produce custom apparel, promotional items, and branded merchandise for their student-run businesses. This hands-on process—from concept to final product—has been incredibly engaging and has helped students better understand entrepreneurship, marketing, and product development in a meaningful way. Supporting equipment like heat presses, specialty paper, and ink has ensured students can continuously create and refine their work.\r\n\r\nWe have also seen incredible engagement from students through photography and content creation tools such as instant cameras, wireless microphones, and compact photo printers. These tools make learning interactive and immediate—students can capture moments, create visual content, and print materials on the spot, which adds excitement and energy to the classroom environment. Storage devices and memory cards ensure students can safely manage and build digital portfolios of their work over time.\r\n\r\nPerhaps most importantly, this technology has helped reach students who may not traditionally feel connected to school. Some quieter students have found confidence through podcasting and audio production, using microphones and recording equipment to express themselves in new ways. Others who are more hands-on learners have thrived using the design and printing equipment, discovering talents in branding, fashion, and visual design. Overall, these materials have created a more inclusive and engaging learning environment where every student has the opportunity to succeed, contribute, and feel like a professional in a real business setting.","fullyFundedDate":1767887248555,"projectUrl":"project/ndhd-corporate-center-art-initiative/9975930/","projectTitle":"NDHD Corporate Center Art Initiative","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Mejia","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-5_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10054229"},{"teacherId":6012965,"projectId":9876104,"letterContent":"Thank you for your donations. Your gift has already transformed our space in ways that words can hardly capture.\r\n\r\nBefore this project, our students had big ideas but limited tools to bring them to life. Now, with professional lighting at their fingertips, they are discovering how color, focus, and intensity can shape mood and storytelling. The excitement in the room is undeniable—students who once stayed quietly in the background are stepping forward to design, create, and lead.\r\n\r\nThis lighting system will not only elevate our upcoming productions, but it will also give students hands-on technical experience that builds confidence, collaboration, and real-world skills. The clothing you provided is being used every single day—not only helping students feel comfortable and confident, but also making sure they can come to school ready to learn without the stress of not having what they need.\r\n\r\nOne moment that stands out was when a student quietly asked if we had a clean hoodie they could borrow for the day. Their face lit up when they found something in their size, and they proudly wore it through the halls. What might seem small made that student feel included and cared for. These are the kinds of moments your kindness makes possible.\r\n\r\nWhen students first saw the closet stocked with fresh clothing, their reactions were priceless. There were smiles, laughter, and even some happy tears. They were surprised that people who don't even know them cared enough to give. That sense of being seen and supported truly matters.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, our next steps are to continue expanding the Care Closet so we can offer a reliable resource for every student who needs it. We are planning to connect the closet with classroom projects around kindness and community service, helping students not only receive but also give back—strengthening our school's culture of care.\r\n\r\nYour support has already made a powerful impact, and we can't thank you enough for being part of this journey with us.\r\n\r\nWith gratitude,","fullyFundedDate":1746786319683,"projectUrl":"project/care-closet/9148607/","projectTitle":"Care Closet","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Allie","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9782117_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1746792007886","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9782117"},{"teacherId":6918807,"projectId":7571720,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous support of my classroom project!
