Your donation made it possible for my students, many of whom rarely have access to hands-on art materials, to experience the joy of building something three dimensional with their own hands. They were excited to explore the process of sculpting, shaping, and adding details to their calaveras, which allowed them to connect with and celebrate their heritage in a meaningful and creative way. The room was filled with pride as students saw their ideas come to life, and many shared how calming and empowering it felt to work with clay.\r\n\r\nWhat made your contribution even more impactful is that we were able to use the leftover clay for a cross curricular science project. Students sculpted clay brains as part of our anatomy lessons, giving them a tactile and visual way to understand different brain structures. This hands-on experience deepened their learning and made the science content more accessible, especially for students who learn best through touch and movement.\r\n\r\nYour generosity created opportunities for creativity, cultural expression, and academic growth across two different subjects.
