Along with the projects that I posted, we use these materials every day. The pencil boxes organize their login information for our learning websites. They also keep highlighters and mini journals in them. Every morning, we watch CNN 10, and the students journal about something interesting they heard. \r\n\r\nWe use the crayons for reading, math, and writing as well. Students draw their vocabulary words to build a concrete understanding of them and they love to color them in and make them more detailed. In math, we use them for multiplication mazes and fractions. For writing we use art materials for projects like the one attached. We will also be using them for animal research projects where the students write an essay and draw a picture to display in the hallway. I had a video of the student's reaction to receiving these materials, but Donors Choose did not let me upload them.
