The materials will be used to help my students learn to regulate their emotions. The sensory materials will create a calm environment to relax and regroup while learning to calm down on their own. By sitting on soft beanbag chairs and playing with sensory sand, their brains can calm down. My students will benefit from a Light Table Sensory Play Materials Set because it will take the sensory play to another level. It comes with translucent materials include beads, rings, and ball. This will create unique textures that kids can explore light and color hands on. I work with many students who have difficulty controlling their temper​ and don’t know how to calm down. Sensory items have been used to help children learn to calm down.
