At the end of the unit students had to designed something that we needed in our classroom. They also had to write an essay explaining what tools they used to make their magnificent project. \r\n\r\nStudents created a pencil holder for pencils that need to be sharpened, a box to put good behavior tickets in, a student work sign, and a box for passing papers back. Students used the construction paper, paint Dobers, markers, etc that your generosity provided for us. I get great joy seeing their learning come to life. \r\n\r\nStudents use the Kinetic Sand and the construction tools to explore how construction workers use their tools to move and create heavy materials. \r\n\r\nStudents become engineers and design, test, and revise different bridges. \r\n\r\nThe kids now have different pieces to create a multitude of combinations for their marble run.
