Most of them have been marked as having the characteristics of dyslexia. Many times the short term memory is a factor in the reading process. If their working memory is not strong, they have trouble remembering the sounds of words to read quickly enough to comprehend. The memory games will help.\r\n\r\nAlso, since reading is a struggle, the students don't like to read; however, with the new chairs, they are often asking \"Are we reading a book today?\". Something as simple as sitting in a new chair gets them excited for reading.
