The tools are used during their morning Daily Living Skills time slot. Being able to see the students clap, cheer, and say Thank You was priceless. They like opening and unpacking, but were not enthusiastic about have to learn how to tie/ lace. I did not expect this project to be funded, so when it was, I was overjoyed. I have had variants of this project posted many times, but they were never funded until now. We have school-owned Chromebooks that we use to supplement district-provided devices, but they are all out-of-warranty now. Because of that, when one is damaged, it is removed from use until parts from another broken device can be cannibalized and used to fix it. These cases are a welcome addition and will help keep our devices protected and in use! \r\n\r\nBecause we were able to order directly from the case company, there was some money left over, so I was able to get a new chair, some office decorations, and some essentials for my classroom.
