When I first received the rug, I had envisioned using it in a cozy reading area in a regular-sized classroom. This year, however, I was placed in a much smaller room where there simply wasn't space for a designated reading corner. Rather than letting the rug go unused, I decided to lay it out in the center of the room — and it has completely transformed our classroom environment.\r\n\r\nFrom the very first day, the plush green rug has become one of our favorite places to learn and relax. I am continually amazed by how well it complements our wall hangings and overall classroom decor — it looks as though it was meant to be here. The color and softness bring a sense of warmth and calm that wasn't there before, and the students have taken to it instantly.\r\n\r\nWhat has touched me most is watching the children use the rug in so many meaningful ways. I often find them curled up with a book during independent reading time, lying on their stomachs working on assignments, or gathered in small groups talking, laughing, and collaborating. It's become a space where students feel comfortable, inspired, and engaged — and that is truly priceless.\r\n\r\nMany of the children have even told me how much they love being on the rug. They say it makes learning feel more fun and cozy, and it has become one of the first places they go when they enter the room each morning. Seeing their smiles and hearing their voices as they enjoy the space you helped provide has been such a joy.\r\n\r\nYour gift has done more than just add a piece of furniture to the room — it has helped create a sense of community and belonging. It has encouraged students to sit together, talk together, work together, and feel at ease in their learning environment. For many of them, this classroom — and this rug in particular — has become a place where they feel safe, valued, and excited to learn.\r\n\r\nFrom the bottom of my heart, thank you for your thoughtfulness, generosity, and support. Your kindness has made a real and lasting impact on our classroom, and we are all so very grateful. We will enjoy this rug — and the comfort, connection, and joy it brings — all year long.\r\n\r\nWith deepest appreciation,","fullyFundedDate":1749139513912,"projectUrl":"project/classroom-rug-for-a-cozy-reading-corner/9142014/","projectTitle":"Classroom Rug for a Cozy Reading Corner","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Claspell","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8120354_orig.png?crop=300,301,x0,y149&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1710867184064","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8120354"},{"teacherId":9228376,"projectId":9320376,"letterContent":"From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your incredible generosity in bringing the \"Nugget Nook\" to life in our classroom.
