The materials that are chosen are items that will help students who have an IEP and/or students with behavior issues. Throughout the day, I help my students, who have an identified disability, with their academic work but at times, they could have a difficult time dealing with anger, depression, and anxiety. Also, I assist the other students who are not identified as special education but have behavior problems in the regular education classes. When I'm available, I offer my assistance to my grade-leveled team member and take a student to my room to work out their anger and/or frustration.
