Most of our students in the school check out library books weekly but often they are not reading them. In my opinion, students need to be able to read a book from front cover to back cover in order to feel a sense of accomplishment. This book was just the thing.\r\n The students were super motivated to read this book. They were especially excited to see what fun activities we would be doing whilst we read the book. We have some great laughs and the students have enjoyed every minute of it...even our nonreaders were excited to come to class every day just to read. That, itself, is a huge accomplishment.\r\n I am so thankful to you for gracing us this gift to help build up our students desire to read. We have already been using the pencils, erasers, and handheld pencil sharpeners in class. We have been able to complete projects because we had something to sharpen our colored pencils with! It is so nice to be able to hand a student a pencil or eraser, and they don't have to worry about getting in trouble for not having one. Many of our students arrive at school on the first day without any supplies. Thanks to your generous donations, we were able to help many children with the basic items they need to succeed in class.
