This technology helps me create colorful, organized anchor charts that support every student's learning. I can now quickly print visuals, vocabulary words, and step-by-step strategies that reinforce reading, writing, and math lessons. The printed labels help keep materials, centers, and resources clearly organized so students can find what they need and take ownership of their learning spaces. Having these ready-to-use materials keeps students engaged and helps them reference what they've learned independently.\r\n\r\nWhat's Most Exciting to Students\r\nMy students are most excited to see their work and ideas displayed on our new anchor charts! They love when I print out their sentences, drawings, or examples to add to the charts we build together. It makes them feel proud and part of the learning process. The bright visuals and printed labels also make our classroom look more inviting and exciting — students often point out new charts or labels as soon as they appear.\r\n\r\nStudents Who Have Warmed to the New Technology\r\nSeveral of my students who thrive on visual learning have especially benefited from the new charts. One student who often struggled to remember multi-step directions now uses the printed visual reminders to follow along independently. Another student who is still developing reading fluency has been using the printed word walls and picture labels to connect words with images, building confidence each day. This simple but powerful technology has helped every student feel more supported and successful in their learning journey.","fullyFundedDate":1758202675272,"projectUrl":"project/anchor-charts-for-all/9651828/","projectTitle":"Anchor Charts for All","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Harris","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-9_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9481216"},{"teacherId":10084490,"projectId":9479323,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your gracious donation. We have been able to utilize our interactive journals beyond what we initially planned for because of this thermal printer. Not only had it made instruction more meaningful, but it also has made planning easier. We can't thank you enough! Along with the thermal printer, we also got laminating sheets. This allows for them to use their anger chart over and over and really get into the habit of creating structure. They're also utilizing their resources more. Along with this one of the pieces of my project was snacks. Because I serve a low income school. Many of my kids come hungry. Not anymore. Technology has become part of the educational process, but too often, it is separate and not integrated into the daily learning experience. My school district currently mandates two programs that our students are to be using on the computer on a daily basis. At the time I only had 7 computers in the classroom and 2 tablets. With the addition of another laptop. I was now able to get 11 students on the computer programs at one time. Because these programs are being monitored by the district, it was extremely important that our students were getting online and meeting our goals. (The majority of students in my classroom had no computer or Internet access at home)\r\n\r\n\r\nBy using the new programs, some of my students who were reluctant to using technology soon became eager to use the laptop. I had students who strongly disliked reading, all of sudden loved going on Myon.com and reading the books online. I truly believe that the more technology tools you put in the hands of your students, the more technology becomes a natural expression of your thinking.","fullyFundedDate":1731544799701,"projectUrl":"project/learning-potential-with-laptops/8790207/","projectTitle":"Learning Potential With Laptops","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Westerfield","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp3361363_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1459250603391","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/ms-westerfield33614"},{"teacherId":3361363,"projectId":8621643,"letterContent":"our donations have funded snacks for our entire grade level for over a month.
