What you helped make possible is more than a bookshelf and some bins — you helped create a space where my students can fall in love with reading.\r\n\r\nBefore this project was funded, our growing book collection was a bit like an unsolved puzzle — full of wonderful pieces that were hard to find and harder to enjoy. Books were piled, misplaced, and difficult for students to browse on their own. Thanks to you, that has completely changed.\r\n\r\nWith your support, we now have a sturdy bookcase that keeps our collection accessible and tidy, along with organizing bins and labels that allow students to find exactly what they're looking for — whether they're browsing by genre, topic, or reading level. What once felt like a chore has become a joy. Students who used to wait for me to find a book now walk confidently to the shelf and choose one themselves. That independence is something I could not have taught from a lesson plan — it came from having a space that was truly theirs.\r\n\r\nA well-organized and welcoming classroom library does something powerful — it sends a message to every student that books matter, that their choices matter, and that this is a place where readers belong. I have already seen students linger at the shelf during free moments, carefully return books to the right bin, and proudly recommend titles to their classmates. The responsibility and pride they take in caring for their library space is something I will carry with me as a teacher for years to come.\r\n\r\nEvery item you helped provide — every label, every bin, every shelf — is working together to nurture a love of reading that we hope will last a lifetime. You did not just organize a collection of books. You helped build a community of readers.\r\n\r\nFrom the bottom of my heart, and on behalf of every student who has already pulled a favorite book from that shelf — thank you. Your generosity has given my classroom something truly priceless: a place where every child feels at home with books.","fullyFundedDate":1763474812187,"projectUrl":"project/help-us-build-a-cozy-and-organized-class/9515431/","projectTitle":"Help Us Build a Cozy and Organized Classroom Library!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Cervantes","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8621965_orig.jpg?crop=431,431,x289,y26&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1660517149053","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8621965"},{"teacherId":8074850,"projectId":9542514,"letterContent":"Thanks to your generosity, my students have been able to fully participate in our reading program and truly grow as readers. These new books have allowed us to focus on essential literacy skills such as comprehension, vocabulary development, fluency, and critical thinking. We've worked on identifying themes, analyzing characters' motivations, making text-to-self and text-to-world connections, and supporting answers with evidence from the text. Having engaging, appropriately leveled books in their hands has made it possible to teach these skills in a way that feels meaningful and exciting rather than frustrating.\r\n\r\nReading in our classroom is an active and collaborative experience. Students participate in small guided reading groups, partner discussions, and independent reading time each day. They annotate texts, ask questions, and share their thinking with one another. Because the books are high-interest and accessible, students are more confident volunteering to read aloud and contribute to conversations. The classroom has truly become a community of readers who encourage one another and celebrate growth.\r\n\r\nI am especially proud of a few students who made tremendous progress this year. Several moved from reading at a 3rd-grade level to becoming strong 5th-grade-level readers. Their confidence has soared and they now choose longer books independently and eagerly participate in discussions. Watching them realize that they are capable readers has been one of the most rewarding parts of this experience. Your support didn't just provide books; it opened doors to confidence, achievement, and a love of reading.","fullyFundedDate":1763474856054,"projectUrl":"project/building-strong-readers-with-battle-of-t/9542514/","projectTitle":"Building Strong Readers with Battle of the Books!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Gonzalez","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8074850_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1647306591192","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8074850"},{"teacherId":8621965,"projectId":9515155,"letterContent":"I am writing to share my deepest gratitude for your generous support of our classroom audio project. Thanks to your kindness, our learning space has been transformed in ways that I only dreamed of when I first submitted this project.\r\n\r\nWith your donation, we were able to bring in a set of classroom headphones, a teacher voice amplifier, a dynamic microphone, and a Bluetooth speaker — tools that have already made a meaningful difference in the daily lives of my students.\r\n\r\nThe headphones have become a game-changer during computer-based lessons and language activities. Students who once struggled to concentrate amid classroom noise can now focus fully, tuned in to exactly what they need to learn. The voice amplifier and microphone have given every student a moment to truly be heard — during read-alouds, group discussions, and presentations, even the quietest voices carry clearly across the room. You could see the confidence bloom on their faces the first time they spoke into the microphone and the whole class heard them.\r\n\r\nThe Bluetooth speaker has brought our lessons to life. Audio plays clearly during language practice, mindfulness moments, and instructional content — no more straining to hear, no more students left out because they couldn't catch every word. Our English language learners, students with special needs, and every child who benefits from a little extra clarity and connection have all felt the impact.\r\n\r\nYou helped us build a classroom where every voice is heard and every mind can stay engaged. These tools are not just equipment — they are bridges to belonging, to understanding, and to confidence.\r\n\r\nThank you, from the bottom of my heart, for tuning in to our classroom and turning up the volume on student success. Your generosity will echo through this room — and these students' lives — for years to come.","fullyFundedDate":1763474830151,"projectUrl":"project/loud-and-clear-amplifying-student-learn/9515155/","projectTitle":"Loud and Clear: Amplifying Student Learning!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Cervantes","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8621965_orig.jpg?crop=431,431,x289,y26&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1660517149053","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8621965"},{"teacherId":10093915,"projectId":9501014,"letterContent":"Our students absolutely loved the resources!
