The tools you helped fund for our snack cart have officially arrived, and our students could not be more thrilled. The organizers, cart, and equipment are already transforming their ideas into something real and meaningful.\r\n\r\nThese items aren't just supplies—they're the foundation of a student‑run enterprise that will support school events, leadership activities, and community‑building projects. Students eagerly built the cart, organized inventory, and they'll roll the cart through the halls to serve their peers. They're especially excited to offer quick snacks to classmates.\r\n\r\nYour support has given them the chance to learn entrepreneurship, teamwork, and responsibility in a hands‑on, joyful way. Your assistance made it possible to order an entire cart-full of loose-leaf paper! \r\n\r\nWe immediately began using the paper, and the students each got some paper to put in their multi-subject binders. \r\n\r\nWhen the students noticed we had paper, they were very happy! We had been relying on the buddy system—students who had notebooks with paper still in them would rip a page out and share with their friends. Either that, or I was making copious copies with printer paper, which they would then lose instead of it being safe in their bound notebook/binder. \r\n\r\nNow, the routine is much simpler, and we can provide the kids with the paper they need for their classwork.\r\n\r\nThis would not have been possible without your support. Before we got the laptops, our charging situation was a mess. We had an octopus of wires plugged into an extension cord in the wall. The laptops were all stacked on top of each other while charging, and all the cords were tangled up. I had to unplug it every afternoon in order to keep things from overheating. \r\n\r\nSince we got the laptop cart, everything has been so organized and easy to maintain. As you can see, the spots are numbered. So are the laptops. Students have the responsibility of maintaining the cart themselves. They are very diligent in putting the correct laptop in the correctly numbered spot. \r\n\r\nThis tech is helping our students learn self-regulation and resource management. If they can't keep the laptop cart orderly, and the laptops don't charge, they have to go back to a paper assignment. All the students do well in keeping each other accountable for the cart. \r\n\r\nOverall, this cart has changed the game in our classroom. It's become part of the routine for the students. Additionally, I, as the teacher in the room, no longer have to worry about our charging situation.
