The new incubators will let us safely hatch eggs right in our classroom—a hands-on experience that wasn't possible with our old equipment.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the incubators, their faces lit up with excitement. They couldn't wait to watch the eggs, check the temperature, and see what might happen each day. It was amazing to see their curiosity and wonder as they learned what the incubators were and what we'd be using them for.\r\n\r\nHaving two incubators also will allow us to explore different kinds of birds in the spring, giving the students even more chances to learn and observe. Your support helped to create what will definetly be a fun, memorable, and unforgettable science experience for our youngest learners. Thank you for making it possible!","fullyFundedDate":1761590724377,"projectUrl":"project/no-more-bad-eggs-with-new-incubators/9803381/","projectTitle":"No More Bad Eggs with New Incubators","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Trelka","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp5509484_orig.png?crop=264,264,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1748824621866","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/5509484"},{"teacherId":9511169,"projectId":9861567,"letterContent":"When our materials arrived, my students were so excited! The train set immediately became a favorite during play-based learning time, giving students opportunities to practice sharing, cooperation, and imaginative play. The noise-cancelling headphones have been such a valuable tool for students who get easily overwhelmed by sound—they're helping them stay calm, focused, and ready to learn during group activities.\r\n\r\nThe laminating pouches and organization materials have made a huge difference for our visuals and schedules. Now, students can easily see what's next in their day, use visual supports for communication, and take pride in keeping their materials organized and accessible.\r\n\r\nThese resources have created a calmer, more structured environment where every child can focus, engage, and grow. Next, we'll continue expanding our independent work centers, adding new visual tasks and hands-on learning activities that build confidence and independence.\r\n\r\nThank you for helping make our classroom a space where every student can thrive!","fullyFundedDate":1762266326683,"projectUrl":"project/building-independence-through-organizati/9861567/","projectTitle":"Building Independence Through Organization","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Meyer","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9511169_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1712976721122","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9511169"},{"teacherId":9511169,"projectId":9290285,"letterContent":"Thanks to your incredible generosity, our classroom has been transformed into a vibrant and welcoming space where students are excited to learn every day! The new Magna Tile cars and STEM toys have been a huge hit—students eagerly gather during free play to build imaginative creations and explore new concepts hands-on. One standout moment was when a group of students worked together to design a \"city\" with roads, bridges, and buildings, proudly sharing their masterpiece with the class.\r\n\r\nWhen the supplies first arrived, the kids were overjoyed! The excitement was contagious—lots of happy cheers and curious hands diving in to explore everything from the math games to the new books. One student in particular was super excited to help carry it up to the classroom, unroll it and help create a space for play and learning.\r\n\r\nWe're currently using the reading materials to build early literacy skills, and the cozy rug has become the heart of our classroom for group lessons and circle time. The Velcro and paper cutter have made organizing materials so much easier, helping us stay focused on learning.\r\n\r\nOur next big step is a collaborative STEM challenge where students will work in teams to create moving vehicles using the Magna Tile cars and other materials. The kids found each of these items to be incredibly interesting and had an enormous amount of questions about each of these items. Our favorites were the organ apron and the model of the skull. Everyone wanted to wear the apron and were curious about the different organs inside their own bodies. \r\n\r\nAnother of their favorites, the human skull, was a big discussion starter! They loved that they could see not only under their skin, but also inside their skull. Many kids wanted to know why the skull didn't have a nose and what their brain looked like. Without this new skull, all of our discussion would have only been oral. The ability to show them the real skull and allow them to put their hands on it allowed them the opportunity to get an understanding of what they wanted to know that they otherwise wouldn't have been able to experience.\r\n\r\nThank you for making this learning experience truly memorable for each one of my students.","fullyFundedDate":1738246399285,"projectUrl":"project/caring-for-our-teddy-bears-and-ourselves/9028361/","projectTitle":"Caring for Our Teddy Bears and Ourselves Isn't Scary","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Trelka","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp5509484_orig.png?crop=264,264,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1748824621866","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/5509484"},{"teacherId":6619389,"projectId":7916256,"letterContent":"Thank you SO much for your generosity!
