The extra gloves were especially helpful during recess, allowing students who forgot gloves or had wet pairs to still comfortably enjoy time outside with their classmates. During indoor recess days, the craft supplies quickly became a favorite part of our classroom routine. One memorable activity was during our Invention Day, when students used the paper plates to design and build their own pom-pom mazes. They created tunnels, tracks, ramps, and obstacles using a variety of classroom materials, showing incredible creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.\r\n\r\nThe students were incredibly excited when they first saw the new materials arrive. Many immediately began talking about what they hoped to create during indoor recess, and several students were especially relieved to know there were extra gloves available if they needed them. The supplies helped create a warm, welcoming environment where students felt cared for, supported, and excited to learn and create together throughout the winter season.","fullyFundedDate":1771355268701,"projectUrl":"project/gloves-for-outdoors-and-crafts-for-indoo/9929702/","projectTitle":"Gloves for Outdoors and Crafts for Indoors","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Trelka","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp5509484_orig.png?crop=264,264,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1748824621866","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/5509484"},{"teacherId":5509484,"projectId":9803381,"letterContent":"Thanks to your generous donation, our Kindergarten classroom will be able to explore science in a really exciting way! They couldn't wait to watch the eggs, check the temperature, and see what might happen each day. It was amazing to see their curiosity and wonder as they learned what the incubators were and what we'd be using them for.\r\n\r\nHaving two incubators also will allow us to explore different kinds of birds in the spring, giving the students even more chances to learn and observe. The train set immediately became a favorite during play-based learning time, giving students opportunities to practice sharing, cooperation, and imaginative play. The noise-cancelling headphones have been such a valuable tool for students who get easily overwhelmed by sound—they're helping them stay calm, focused, and ready to learn during group activities.\r\n\r\nThe laminating pouches and organization materials have made a huge difference for our visuals and schedules. Now, students can easily see what's next in their day, use visual supports for communication, and take pride in keeping their materials organized and accessible.\r\n\r\nThese resources have created a calmer, more structured environment where every child can focus, engage, and grow. Next, we'll continue expanding our independent work centers, adding new visual tasks and hands-on learning activities that build confidence and independence.\r\n\r\nThank you for helping make our classroom a space where every student can thrive!","fullyFundedDate":1762266326683,"projectUrl":"project/building-independence-through-organizati/9861567/","projectTitle":"Building Independence Through Organization","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Meyer","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9511169_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1712976721122","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9511169"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_40782","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":621,"numTeachers":42,"percentFrplEligible":28,"percentAsian":1,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":90,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":3,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","percentHawaiianImputed":0,"percentMultiracialImputed":2,"gradesServed":"Pre-K - 3","studentTeacherRatio":"14.8:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_SMALL"},"inStateSupporters":76.5,"schoolId":40782,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Mosinee Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Mosinee Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/wisconsin/mosinee-school-district/mosinee-elementary-school/40782"}
