Your generosity means more than words can express, and I am truly grateful for your kindness and investment in my students. Because of your support, my students will have access to meaningful resources that will strengthen their learning, build confidence, and create exciting opportunities every single day in our classroom.\r\n\r\nI absolutely love how curious, funny, and resilient my students are. They bring incredible energy and personality into our classroom each day, and they make teaching such a rewarding experience. One of the most exciting moments this year happened when we read Freckle Juice by Judy Blume. My students were completely captivated by the story. They laughed at the characters, eagerly predicted what might happen next, and made thoughtful connections to their own lives and experiences. Watching them become so engaged and excited about reading reminded me how powerful the right books can be for young learners.\r\n\r\nBecause of that enthusiasm, I know that adding a classroom set of Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing will have an enormous impact on our students. These books will encourage rich classroom discussions, strengthen comprehension skills, and continue helping students develop a lifelong love of reading. Stories have a special way of helping children feel seen, understood, and connected, and I cannot wait to watch my students dive into these characters and conversations together.\r\n\r\nThe additional learning tools you helped provide will also make a tremendous difference for my diverse learners. The flash card rings and mini anchor charts will give students portable and accessible support tools they can use independently throughout the school day. Having vocabulary reminders, reading strategies, and math references readily available allows students to build confidence and take ownership of their learning. Many students benefit from visual reminders and step-by-step supports, and these resources will help them feel more successful and empowered during independent work.\r\n\r\nThe laminating pouches are another incredibly valuable resource for our classroom. By laminating our learning tools, I can ensure they stay durable and usable all year long. Students use these materials daily, and having long-lasting resources means we can spend more time focused on learning and less time replacing worn-out materials. Something as simple as durable classroom tools can make a huge difference in keeping our classroom organized, efficient, and student-centered.\r\n\r\nI am also deeply thankful for the reliable pencil sharpener. While it may seem like a small item, it truly impacts our daily routine. Broken pencils can quickly interrupt learning and create unnecessary distractions. Having a dependable sharpener means students can stay focused, prepared, and engaged during instruction and independent work time.\r\n\r\nFinally, the hands-on ELL resource will be especially meaningful for the two non-English speaking students I pull for intervention support. These students work incredibly hard every day to build language skills while also learning grade-level content. The visual and interactive support from these materials will help them practice vocabulary, improve communication skills, and build confidence in a safe and engaging way. Supporting multilingual learners is so important, and your generosity helps create opportunities for them to feel successful and included in our classroom community.\r\n\r\nThank you again for believing in my students and supporting their education. Your generosity is creating opportunities that will positively impact their learning, confidence, and growth throughout the year. I feel so fortunate to teach such wonderful students, and even more fortunate to have caring supporters like you helping us along the way.","fullyFundedDate":1773851954174,"projectUrl":"project/for-the-love-of-learning/10131642/","projectTitle":"For the Love of Learning!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Higareda","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp3709067_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1469907587383","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/higareda"},{"teacherId":3709067,"projectId":9983896,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generosity and support!!!! Several students immediately asked if they could try the flexible seating, while others excitedly explored the sensory tools and organizational spaces. One student looked around the room and said, \"This feels comfortable and calm.\" Moments like that reminded me how important environment is for student confidence, focus, and belonging.\r\n\r\nWe are already using these resources during small-group reading instruction, collaborative projects, independent work time, and classroom discussions.
