They are thrilled when they can come to my classroom, grab a snack and a resource to help them through the day. My students are incredibly grateful for these items.\r\n\r\nWhen the resources arrived, they couldn't believe someone out there was so generous, not even knowing who they were. The excitement of opening the projects was a lot of fun too. \r\n\r\nThese donations allow me to continue to offer a calming and nurturing space for high school students. These fidgets and stress reducers will get continued use throughout this school year and beyond. After meeting the simple human need of food, they can better focus on their work and are therefore more successful in school. Students of all types are not always fueled for the day for a variety of reasons. Some don't have the resources for food, some have not had time to eat, while others are just experiencing hunger.\r\n\r\nMy students were thrilled to know that people out there are thinking and caring about them. They usually smile and are always grateful for the snacks your donation provided.
