I was able to purchase a class set of headphones, blue light glasses, and a rack to organize these supplies. My students and I greatly appreciate the equipment and how much more comfortable it has made technology use in our classroom. \r\n\r\nA major component of 4th grade is preparing for our standardized state test. Our district has a computer program with lessons that students work through for a short time each day. The headphones have allowed students to better focus on their own lessons because they aren't hearing the computer of the person sitting next to them. Students can truly lock in and concentrate on their work. The blue light glasses have helped students with screen fatigue and making sure that they are their most comfortable while they use the technology. Of course, everything is put away at the end of the day and neatly organized in the shoe holder so everyone can easily access their materials. \r\n\r\nThank you again and again for your kindness in giving my students tools to be successful while using technology. Without financial help from our community, a lot of what we do in the classroom is limited. For a good percentage of students, this is extremely important because they are visual learners. They are now being brought into the process of storytelling and story involvement. \r\nBecause of your generosity, the students now get to be hands-on with their learning. This will make such a lasting impact on them. It also takes some of the burden off of the teacher to be constantly spending money on the things we absolutely need in our classroom for effective teaching.
