Your generosity has provided all our 4th grade students with an engaging and meaningful resource that has become a valuable part of our classroom learning.\r\nSo far this year, Scholastic News has given my students opportunities to grow as readers while also learning more about the world around them. Each issue introduces interesting topics and real-world events that spark curiosity, encourage questions, and lead to meaningful classroom discussions. My students have been able to strengthen their reading comprehension skills, build vocabulary, practice identifying main ideas and supporting details, and use evidence from the text to support their thinking. I've been very impressed because many of my reluctant readers have been volunteering to read out loud from the text. \r\nHaving these magazines available throughout the year in our Title I school has helped make reading more purposeful and exciting. They have provided opportunities for independent reading, partner discussions, whole-class learning, and meaningful conversations that extend beyond the pages of a magazine. Most importantly, they have helped nurture curiosity and a love of learning in my students.\r\nAs their teacher, it is incredibly rewarding to see my students become excited about learning something new and to watch their confidence grow as readers and thinkers. Your support has helped make those experiences possible.\r\nThanks again for investing in our classroom and in the growth of our students.
