The students have learned what information can be found in dictionaries and in encyclopedias. As an extension to that learning, they practiced using them in order to research for our living wax museum we will be holding on May 1.\r\n\r\nThis has been a new and exciting time in our class as most students have had little to no exposure using actual encyclopedia books to find information. Most of their experience in looking for information has been technology based. It has had a large learning curve which represented some early frustration for some but, through guided practice and encouragement, they have stepped up to the challenge.\r\n\r\nDue to everyone who supported this project, my students have been able to find new paths to learning and have gained new interests in researching outside of technology. Thank you again to everyone who contributed.
