They were so excited when I showed them the materials, especially the Sharpie's -- they love to add color to their projects, even if it's not a requirement.\r\n\r\nThey have used the materials in a few different ways. In my forensics class, they utilized the Post-It paper to create synopsis posters, which they then used information from to help create claim-evidence-reasoning posters. \r\n\r\nIn my anatomy and physiology class, students created posters that displayed \"Life-Sized Terms\" when we were studying our terminology unit. We are beginning to study the Integumentary system, and they will be creating diagrams to display the structures found within skin to help them visualize everything.\r\n\r\nWe will continue to utilize these resources throughout the remainder of the school year for projects that help them to collaborate and bring their ideas to life. Your generosity is greatly appreciated by myself, my aide, and all our students. The students are able to use the double sided white board to work out math problems, brainstorm for writing assignments, and most recently start and maintain a countdown until spring and summer breaks! The Clorox wipes come in very handy. Students will wipe down their individual desks once we near the end of class.
