Later this fall, I will roll out the first-ever MHS Yoga Club. The supplies and equipment donated will be used multiple times a week during our practice. \r\n\r\nIt is a humbling to receive such generous donations for this project, and I appreciate the support and faith. I will continue to reassess the needs of my high school community, and look forward to adding to our yoga props to promote ease and accessibility for all students.","fullyFundedDate":1746725437005,"projectUrl":"project/building-community-wellness-through-yoga/9326030/","projectTitle":"Building Community Wellness Through Yoga and Mindful Movement","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Phipps","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10021065_orig.jpg?crop=743,743,x1098,y870&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1746547400162","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10021065"},{"teacherId":9694072,"projectId":8683821,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generosity in donating to my classroom fund. I hope you know how far your donation will go in helping students discover books, genres, and a productive learning environment, and how that can assist them in their learning. Already I have had students ask to read the new choice books that were provided from this donation and they love them! Being able to provide students with choice allows them to truly take ownership of their learning. Choice in books is one step towards that ownership. \r\n\r\nIn my classroom, we often read during whole class novel units, but we have done independent reading novels as well, and later this year we will read in small literature circles, like a book club. The books and materials provided will help make these units a comforting space for students to choose freely and express their interests. It is a goal of mine to have students read a bit every day and expand an independent reading unit over the course of an entire school year. Again, your donations to my classroom will bridge the gap between student interest and access.\r\n\r\nAgain, thank you so much for your support, and I hope you will consider my classroom again for any other projects that may surface in the future.","fullyFundedDate":1730733507957,"projectUrl":"project/a-comfortable-supportive-ela-classroom/8683821/","projectTitle":"A Comfortable, Supportive ELA Classroom with Relevant YA Titles","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Goericke","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9694072_orig.jpg?crop=1058,1058,x1431,y1401&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1724207781793","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9694072"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_71532","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":419,"numTeachers":23,"percentFrplEligible":71,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":86,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":9,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"9 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"18.2:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"TOWN","ncesMetroType":"TOWN_FRINGE"},"inStateSupporters":72.3,"schoolId":71532,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Montague High School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Montague High School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/michigan/montague-area-public-school-district/montague-high-school/71532"}
