The opportunity for children to go to the Peaceful Place in the art room helped students identify ways to create a sense of calm as they use reading and art to express themselves in the same way artists have throughout history.\r\n\r\nIt was a huge success! There is so much to learn from thoughtful artists. We read about Alma Thomas and made sensational paintings in her style. This learning will continue! They love them. These boards have made classroom activities more accessible and fun!\r\nThe students love the way they can share their responses quickly and independently. The use of the boards has helped to improve response times for all of the students as they work together and individually. \r\nI enjoy the no mess factor. Students write on the boards and never have to worry about the messes that may occur. This has brightened up the learning experience for me and my students.
