Our class is so thankful for your generosity in helping to supply our classroom with much needed supplies and toys. We live in a small, rural community and none of this would have been possible without your support.\r\n\r\nThe students walked into the classroom after I had unboxed and opened all of the packages to see everything that was sitting on the table for them. They looked like it was Christmas morning all over again and were so ecstatic that these new items were all for them. A couple of them asked, \"Do we really, really get to use all of this stuff? Is it really all for us?\" I was almost on the verge of tears when I was able to tell them that yes, it was really all for them.\r\n\r\nWe have been able to do a few art projects that we had not been able to for quite a while because we didn't have the right materials. The kids have been so excited to share their creativity more freely with one another and show each other what they can create. \r\n\r\nThe new toys were the biggest highlight of all. Something seemingly simple to others made all the difference in the world to these little ones. The new accessories for the baby dolls, the new toy cars, the sensory bin fillers, the magnetic helpers to accompany the magnetic tiles, even the play cleaning set, the fidget/calming toys, all it has made the classroom feel so much happier. There is so much joy on their faces during play time and so much laughter while they imagine with their friends. \r\n\r\nI hope you all know how much happier you have made our little corner of the world, and how grateful we really, truly are for your kindness.","fullyFundedDate":1735231521734,"projectUrl":"project/learning-is-our-super-power-in-pre-kinde/8655804/","projectTitle":"Learning is our super power in pre-kindergarten!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Smith","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-2_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9664583"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_65308","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":155,"numTeachers":9,"percentFrplEligible":43,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":37,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":60,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 8","studentTeacherRatio":"17.2:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_DISTANT"},"inStateSupporters":58.1,"schoolId":65308,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Mohawk Valley Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Mohawk Valley Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/arizona/mohawk-valley-school-district-17/mohawk-valley-elementary-school/65308"}
