The 4th and 5th graders had a Snowflake STEM Challenge. They had to make a budget with pretend money, shop at the Maker Space for their supplies and then create a snowflake together. It was engaging, fun and creative! They enjoyed getting to \"shop\" for their materials and use their art skills to build something. \r\n\r\nThe students love seeing all the things they get to use for designing at the Maker Space. They have been coming up with other items to add to help them create better. I look forward to using it next for parachutes, catapults, leprechaun traps and other STEM Challenges! We will continue to use the Maker Space for more Challenges and open ended designs and builds. \r\n\r\nThe stools complete the classroom and go well with our new tables.
