This year we have a student who is mostly confined to a wheelchair and these materials allowed us to create a space where she can have full access to our classroom. I have a group that has many needs with attention, anxiety and learning disabilities. Our special seating provides ways students can be safe, wiggle and learn. It is beautiful to look out in the class and see how the different seating allows for students to be themselves and their needs go unnoticed to those around them. \r\n\r\nThe seats also provide great excitement to students who do not have to be confined to a desk all day. We are still in the process of organizing our lab so it can be the most beneficial for all of our students. The organizational supplies we were able to purchase allows us to use our full imagination to create the space.\r\n\r\nWe dream for the space to be beneficial to all students at our school, even our students with special needs.
