The kids participated by selecting switches in a sequence, to read a portion of the story. They then answered comprehension questions throughout the story by either verbally answering, pointing to a correct picture, or using their device to respond. My students LOVE the books and the bookshelf displays the books so they are easy to find. \r\n\r\nMany students have been able to find new series that peaks their interest. In addition, many students are able to see characters that look like them in the stories they read. Series like Zapato Power, Liam and Forest friends,Katie Woo and Pedro Mysteries and Freddie Ramos allow my Hispanic students to see characters that look and speak like them. The Doggie Daycare series and Pizza and Taco books are high-interest books for my students who struggle to find genres they are interested in.\r\n\r\nThe bookshelf is amazing! It allows me to group chapter book series' books easily and in student view.
