Everything has a place, and our classroom now runs like a well-oiled machine!\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the carts, they were so excited! They immediately asked, \"You bought us this?\" I explained that the carts were funded through DonorsChoose, which gave me the opportunity to teach them about what DonorsChoose is, how classroom projects are funded, and how generous donors helped make our project possible. They were genuinely interested in learning where the materials came from and were incredibly grateful. During a recent read-aloud of our favorite story, the difference was night and day: instead of fidgeting on the hard floor, every student was settled comfortably into their own designated space, completely captivated by the book. It has also given us the perfect dedicated launchpad for our daily brain breaks. Just yesterday, after an intense math lesson, the kids gathered on the rug for a quick guided movement routine—stretching and resetting their minds together before diving back into work.\r\n\r\nMoving forward, we are using our new meeting space to build a stronger classroom community. Our next step is using the rug as the anchor for our morning circles, where students will take turns sitting together to share personal goals, practice social-emotional check-ins, and lead group discussions.
